Né à vannes en 1973, vit et travail comme scénographe d’expositions à Paris.

à sa sortie des beaux-arts, Gwendal s’investi principalement dans des projets collectif en lien avec la performance.

De la création du collectif Praxis à Rennes aux performances de la chorégraphe Catherine Baÿ, il à toujours privilégié des formes artistiques radicales mais inclusives.

C’est en 2015 qu’il entreprend une production d’œuvres plastiques , peintures et sculptures, comme une continuité de ses recherches sur le temps, l’espace, la trace laissée, ou la sérendipité, héritée de sa pratique de la performance scénique.

Dans le XXè arrondissement de Paris, un mur de graffitis peint par des milliers d’artistes de Street Art a été détruit.

Parmi les gravats, l’artiste Gwendal Légo, récupère les épaisses sédimentations de ces fresques urbaines fossilisées pendant vingt ans telles des reliques d’un temps révolu et sculpte, façonne, assemble ces objets faisant exploser et révéler leurs couleurs.
